Bliss

Hmm... not much to say about this one... Its a really simple and a quick sketch I made months ago. The reference taken here was a friend of mine, not that she looks anything like the character here...but she is lean and thin, and particularly she had this weird serene look on her face. After having a long chat with on that day, my inner artist (or "the inner me") said  "You have got to draw that expression!!!" So finally I sat down, started sketching, and it took me about half an hour to make this. Also this was the first art that I colored digitally and using traditional colors(did I get that right, talking about crayons, markers, and pencil colors).

Random talk

Hi everybody!!! This post is like a random..its more like I just talk about random stuff that keep popping in my head... (even though random stuff keep popping in my head every second :P). Today I joined myanimelist.net!! *claps hands* so I started making a list of all the animes and mangas i have read so far... the only problem is I dont remember all of them....its like I remember one series and then I forget the series that I just remembered when I remembered the first series (uuhhh...I know I am not making any sense here >.<)
Anyway, so this something new for me...and I think its a great thing to keep track of what you have watched or read...those who havnt tried it yet (like me..who wasnt a member untill a few seconds ago) ...sign up!!

Rain

Hi!! Though this is like a really late post...as monsoon is almost over here.. This was something I drew during monsoon season..about 4 months ago. I had actually made it for a contest ( which I didnt win :\) The theme for the contest for rain or anything related to the monsoon season. Also this was the first time I experimented with rain that is artificial rain. I used a brush tool to make the artificial rain..which of course was pretty exciting for me :D
Also the background is originally a picture taken in Nishioka, the place was close to my home in Japan. Used this picture as it had the gray clouds feel to it, hence it was easy to manipulate it. I used the paint or water color effect...I think thats what it is called..an effect that makes pictures look like a water color painting so that its easy to use it with the character here.

Butterflies-process

Hi!! yet again.. XD
I decided on making this...something that i call the "process" of making an art... hmm I had seen many people make stuff like this, and talk about how they made the entire art, kinda like a step wise process. So..here it is...the step wise hmm not exactly process but more like step wise over view on how I made the art. :P
Well there not much to talk and tell about here..so I ll just stop here for now... :P

Butterflies

Hello once again!!! :)
This art was actually made for an event around 10 months ago. This was actually a Christmas present for a fellow user in deviantart. Everyone loves presents..specially on Christmas, and for some reason I was kinda missing out on the entire Christmas present exchange thing. So when I came across this event on dA, I thought like...yeah..why not!! So it goes like this...you nroll your name in the event (you also have to write down ehat you like..something like a letter to santa)  and then few days later you get a user's name and then you read the user's wishlist and then decided on what you want to draw for them. :)
It took a while to come up with this art, since the user had mentioned "butterflies" hence I had to put that in the art...so finally I ended up with this, with loads and loads of pondering and effort to make it look like good art. (^_^)
Stuff that I used to make this: sketch made by pencil, marker for the outlining, and pencil colors and crayons for the colors.
But the most happiest moment was when user it was meant for liked it alot!! >w<

JBF Fan Art!!!

HI!!! Even though I like creating more and more OCs.. I still enjoy drawing fan arts.. At that time I was totally in love with VOCALOIDS!! My then most favorite vocaloid was Megurine Luka...and yeah after looking at the images on the blog I dont think I need to mention which song I was sooo much in love with >w<
well here is the line art..I drew them in my chibi style..or kinda chibi style..which ever style it is..for now..I drew them in akari-L-ish (sounds kinda weird :P) style. here is the line art:

 I drew it on paper and colored it using pencil colors..since I dont have a scanner that why I have to take a picture of my art and then upload it online..it was pretty easy to make the line art as I was drawing in my style. At first I thought of shading the entire image using black, white and red, but dropped the idea..
And so here is the final colored version of the same line art:

Did I do a good job?..well I was happy the way Luka turned out..but I was definitely not not happy the way the guy turned out..I mean he kinda has this girly touch to his face..which I didnt like..its probably due to me lacking the ability to draw good male characters..*hope I improve* >.<

My OCs!! (>w<)

Hi... to..hmm..the people who are reading this post!! :P
Well today i thought about talking about my OCs!! :) Few of my chibi OCs:

I made them last year. I think it was about a year ago or maybe 11 months ago. The only characters that I managed to name are on the second image, the one with the black hair is Iris and the other one is Lily. As far as i remember I didnt think too much before I sketched them, Lily and Iris were the first ones that I drew out of all the other characters. They were originally doodles.. I remember how bored I was in my hostel room, and the only thing I could remember was trying to vent out all the boredom by sketching. So instead of sketching i started doodling..and ended up with with all these OCs. 

Hmm..I still havnt named the other characters.. so please please help me out with the names. >w<

Also, I was thinking that I ll start a 4-5 panel comic using these characters....I mean something like a gag comic or maybe similar...colored or not..will decide that later.. :P

Stripes and Strokes!

Well the next thing that caught my interest was working with stripes. Its pretty simple though, all it needs is a line few strokes to give it a little glow effect and the other effects. While making this wallpaper I was actually not thinking anything as its more like following steps and then using your imagination to work with how to want to place it and then how you want to wrap the whole design. So for this one I just tried simple stuff. First, I just made a line and then added a stoke, I dont exactly remember the size of the brush when I added the stoke effect probably 7.. yeah. So anyway after that I added a green glow to the entire thing, was thinking more of using blue but I ended up with green. Once a single stripe is made (I call them stripes :P ) I copied the entire layer and merged it. Now comes the fun part where you can let your imagination run wild, well looking at this wallpaper it doesnt look like that I actually let my imagination run wild, but oh well doesnt matter it was my first time trying it out :P. After merging the layers wrap the entire image, and then change the shape, the size , its position. And this is what you get at the end, well this or something different :P
Probably the most simple wallpaper that can be made on photoshop. ^_^
